Profile and About ALEJANDRO LARRAMENDI
Alejandro Larramendi
Growing up on a tobacco farm in Cuba, Alejandro somehow managed to save up enough money to buy his first Apple computer. In 1999, at the tender age of 14, he and his family decided to leave Cuba to move to the States in hopes of a better future. It’s paying off.
Alejandro attended American Intercontinental University, graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography. After working as a Designer for several design studios in Miami, he accepted a full time internship at Crispin Porter+Bogusky. Having developed a love of advertising and design, he landed a spot with Droga5 where he not only does good work, but keeps the department awake with an endless supply of rocket fuel, or what he calls Cuban coffee.
In his spare time, Ale paints, shoots photographs and spends countless hours retouching images. When away from the computer Alejandro enjoys spending time with his friends, collecting design books and riding his fixed gear bike.
